Paco Pomet

Its hard to imagine. But Paco Pomet won’t quit. There’s a joke in every painting/drawing he creates. And his work is good. Very good. But there is that constant tongue in the cheek. The photographic sepia flavour to so many of his pieces gives you the impression of looking through someone’s old photo album. Was the world really like that? As you probably have realized I like this work. I imagine if you showed it to some young person they would split a gut.

Flowers

Old collages that we’ve dragged out of the attic. In preparation for their new life as illustrations for a manuscript that was found in the attic. The mss. is about the birth of existence. And how it almost didn’t happen. Do to a clerical error.

Come see us.

Irene Ronchetti

Irene Ronchetti is a very mysterious woman. She appears to have done an awful lot of work. Her collages tend to be painterly. At least those are the one’s I am presenting to you here. But upon further research I discovered that she has quite a large repertoir of different work. The pieces here affect me on a gutteral lever. There’s something ominous. Very dark. Reminding me somewhat of the work of Spanish artist Goya.
