Ruth Thorne-Thomson

Ms. Thorne-Thomson uses a pin-hole camera and collages to create some interesting images. It is as in the beginning of photography (the 19th Century) the world was surreal.

Some of her work reminds me of pieces I did.

Reblogged this on power of h Weblog and commented:

Ruth Thorne-Thomson was first sighted on Bel Air Drive in 1953. Penniless and alone she was still taking photos. But had moved on to the experimental Brownie. In 1958 she disappeared in a Pontiac Pathfinder down I 48. She hasn’t been seen since.
